FAQ

Quick answers

How do I convert SVG tspan to text?
Click Tspan to text. Each <tspan> becomes its own <text>, copying font, fill, and x/y (or the parent’s x/y when the tspan omitted them).
Does tspan-to-text explode every letter?
No. Split SVG Text Into Glyphs is the per-character pass. This page keeps each tspan’s string intact — typical for Illustrator/Figma line tspans.
Are font and fill copied onto the new text elements?
Yes. Parent font-size, font-family, fill, and stroke copy down; a tspan’s own fill/font overrides win.
What if a tspan has no x or y?
It inherits the parent text’s x/y. dy and dx on the tspan are copied through so relative line offsets still apply.
