FAQ

Quick answers

How do I remove SVG filters?
Click Remove filters. filter= / style filter, CSS blur() and drop-shadow(), and every <filter> (feGaussianBlur, feOffset, feDropShadow) are deleted.
Does this strip mask or clipPath as well?
No. Masked or clipped artwork stays masked/clipped. Remove SVG Mask or Convert SVG Mask to Clip Path if that is the job.
Are CSS filter values like blur() removed too?
Yes. Presentation filter=url(#id) and style filter:blur(4px) both go. The painted fill and stroke stay.
What happens to unused filter ids in defs?
The whole <filter> node is removed, so leftover ids disappear with it. Remove SVG Filters if you still have unused gradients.
